Mars FM
If Portland based indie folk rock band Mars FM isn't frolicking through lush PNW forests or drinking tea, they're probably jamming to a Neil young song in their basement. Heavily inspired by his work for their originals, the band naturally decided to start performing shows dedicated to Neil Young's music. Having listened to Neil Young for most of their lives, Mars FM knows a wide range of his discography and love playing both his hits and his deep cuts. This is a show for the Neil heads, and features pedal steel guitar, banjo, warm tube amps, harmonica, and a lot of love for Neil.
Rose Parade
Rose Parade is a Portland, Oregon–based Elliott Smith cover band featuring vocals, piano, bass, and drums. The band reinterprets Smith’s songs in a stripped-down, intimate style, bringing new textures and a quiet intensity to his timeless works.
