Shrunk & White is a Portland based musical comedy duo from the minds of Leo Moon and Nathan Earle. Their comic songs range from “irish” cautionary folk and infantile grunge to 50’s holiday crooner and satanic country. Think Tenacious D meets Hee Haw!
They are so excited to bring this holiday themed variety show to Showdown.
A multi-media, multi-disciplinary Christmas Comedy themed variety show that tries to answer one simple question...Why doth Christmas? And what doth it mean to Shrunk & White? We've probed our deepest Holiday memories, treasures and fears to bring you this celebration of holiday life in all its ragged winter glory. There will be music, singing, film, dancing and a Santa Christ Photobooth. All original work. All hosted by roller derby bad ass Layla Smackdown. Come for the music, stay for the virginity candles! Leo Moon
Leo Moon is the solo incarnation of actor, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Brian Adrian Koch. California born and Oregon raised, Brian has been active in the Portland theater, film & music scene since arriving in 2000. He was recently awarded best actor at the Toronto Independent Film Festival. As well as Best Actor at the 2018 Portland Comedy Film Festival. He is a current and founding member of indie rock band Blitzen Trapper (2000 - present), Mocking Ghost and formerly of psychedelic folk duo Dead Lee (2017-2023).

Nathan Earle
A son of the Flint Hills of Eastern Kansas, Nathan Earle has now made a home in the Pacific Northwest for nearly two decades. Earle's ties to Midwestern folk and gospel traditions are interwoven with the soulful and verdant hues of the Northwest. His impassioned vocal delivery and introspective story-telling can break into the most well-guarded hearts without setting off the alarms. Nathan is also a member of NW Americana Soul Outfit The Get Ahead.
