Haystack Slim & The Broken Arrow are a Tacoma, Washington based band that mixes a broad base of influences into a fire and ice homebrew of classic country and rock n’ roll. They first formed in the spring of 2023 when eastern Oklahoma troubadour Haystack Slim joined with a new, high-powered backing band - comprised of Tacoma guitarist Ryan Finley, bassist Joe Filkins, and drummer Bradley Stewart - who perform with Haystack under the moniker The Broken Arrow. 

Haystack’s lyrics tell stories of addiction, love & heartbreak, and gutty Western heroes. The vocals are weaved into music rich with melodic hooks and dynamic progressions. The result? Songs that remind that country isn’t just about beer and backroads, and that rock & roll lives. 

Haystack has a previous solo release, 2020’s “Haystack Slim and the Gilded Gun,” on which he debuted some of his favorite original songs in a more intimate style with just his voice and acoustic guitar. 

Now with an array of new electric originals, Haystack Slim & the Broken Arrow are playing shows throughout the Pacific Northwest supporting their recently-released EP, “Westbound”.

Kate Dinsmore is a singer-songwriter based in Seattle, WA.  A dynamic performer and vocalist, Dinsmore brings her songs to the stage with an undeniable presence.

Her music is powerful and emotional, with influences ranging from Jazz to Rock to Americana. Dinsmore’s performances quickly gained a following in Seattle, allowing her to open for notable artists such as Pat Benatar, Colin Hay, and the Dip.

Her voice is triumphant and intimate. The perfect soundtrack to dropping off the last of your ex’s stuff and driving off into the sunset.

Once described as a “combination of Patty Griffin grit and Amy Winehouse grace” by American Songwriter, Portland-based Soul/Americana singer-songwriter Karyn Ann has been charming audiences across the US for nearly a decade. Her powerful vocals and thoughtful songwriting weave together themes of nature and personal experience into a narrative that highlights the many facets of universal human emotions.

She’s shared stages with Courtney Marie Andrews, Seth Walker and Haley Johnsen to name a few, and has graced such stages as the legendary Bitter End in NYC and the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, OR. She is a former selectee for the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist showcase and the Red Ants Pants Music Festival, and her songwriting skills have been recognized by the Red Lodge Songwriters Contest and the Tucson Folk Festival Songwriting Competition.

Ann is currently working on releasing new music. The title track “Consequence of Fear” from her forthcoming EP of the same name debuted May 5th and offers the listener the first glimpse of Ann’s plunge into the lush world of electric guitar and synth fueled production.
